Youth Action Board

The Youth Action Board is an after-school club at Holly High School.

The Youth Action Board is an after-school club at Holly High School. The Youth Action Board members look at concerns or ideas in their school and community and are active to make positive change. Some of the concerns they look at are distracted driving, bullying, and drug and alcohol misuse among teens. There are lots of ways to be involved with the YAB including mentoring, teaching, using your creativity, going to fun trainings and events, helping implement campaigns. It is a good, positive, way to be involved in your school and community and will look good on a job or school application.

The students meet weekly at the High School and plan out what they want to accomplish. We also meet a couple times through the summer to do some planning and to keep in touch. For more information and meeting times email Nicholas.klempp@hask12.org
