YOUTH ACTION BOARD

The Youth Action Board(YAB) is an after-school club at Holly High School. The Youth Action Board members look at concerns or needs in their school and community and are active to make positive changes. Each year the YAB determines concerns and needs that need to be addressed, in past years this has included: campaigns to address distracted driving, bullying, drug and alcohol misuse among teens.

There are many ways to be involved with the YAB including mentoring, teaching, using creativity, going to trainings and events, helping implement campaigns. This is a positive way to be involved in your school and community and involvement in a community-based organization will look good on college and job applications.

The students meet at the High School and plan out what they want to accomplish. Check announcements for meeting schedule.
